AtmosClear was set up to work in association with other organizations to help them do something about climate change. When we first started, all we thought about was how could we work with others to get their customers, members and/or staff to become more aware about global warming and climate change? We assumed that many organizations would become concerned about these issues, and that they may not necessarily have much time or the resources to work through all of the questions. We assumed some might need some help! And, that's where we come in.
Our skills focus on projects that reduce emissions and programs that educate about climate change and stimulate action to reduce emissions. We can design programs to suit an organization's needs to reduce its emissions, and we have access to range of projects designed to further reduce emissions. And, we can help to identify opportunities for business and organizations around the climate change issue and help to implement programs that complement corporate marketing, public relations, eductional, and social and/or environmental programs.
Working with us gives organizations:
- an association with a worthwhile environmental cause administered by a third party
- the opportunity to attract, serve and market to environmentally conscious consumers through an affinity, loyalty or rewards-type program
- addition of a unique element to corporate and consumer socially-responsible, public relations and merchandising programs
- encouragement of more environmentally sustainable business and consumer behavior and practices.
When we work with organizations to design their own climate change strategies and programs, we can provide various services including the following:
- carbon footprinting (learning about an organization's sources of emissions and cost-effective opportunities for reducing emissions)
- developing a corporate emission reductions strategy (in house) including on how to go "carbon neutral"
- developing a climate change focused program to reduce emissions (internally, externally or both)
- developing strategies and programs with as much or as little involvement of staff and employees, including automated greenhouse gas inventory and footprinting tools and automated purchases of VERs, and
- developing and implementing with appropriate emission reduction projects and/or programs designed to meet the unique needs of an organization and the various stakeholders involved in the project and/or program.

AtmosClear Climate Club
Finally, our Climate Club™ program can be used by organizational partners as both an eductional and an affinity/rewards program for their customers, members and/or staff. Climate Club partners support membership growth by extending their benefits to all AtmosClear Climate Club members and facilitate sales of memberships either directly at their physical and/or on-line points of purchase or through the AtmosClear's web-based shopping cart.
The AtmosClear Climate Club selectively partners with companies and other organizations so that they may use the AtmosClear Climate Club to differentiate their offerings from those of competitors. AtmosClear's management collaborates with and supports each partner to determine unique, customized plans for promoting membership sales in tune with the partner’s marketing, merchandising and public relations needs.
Sales of memberships provide a potential source of revenues for partners when sales of memberships can be attributed to their marketing efforts and/or members’ demand for specific partner offers or discounts. These revenues can be used to cover partial costs for partners’ marketing, merchandising and/or public relations programs or environmental or social programs.
AtmosClear will consider purchasing VERs from eligible projects identified by our partners if partners can demonstrate that they will generate sufficient volumes of membership sales to cover the due diligence, legal and audit expenses associated with entering into a new contract.
