About Us

AtmosClear works with organizations to fight global warming and climate change. We strive to bring the carbon market to:

  • companies
  • organizations and
  • individuals, through partner organizations and businesses

We pride ourselves on our long-standing experience working in both voluntary and regulatory markets for emission reductions since the early-to-mid 1990s, and bringing to the market high-quality projects that really do reduce emissions. Much of our focus at this time is on the evolving North American compliance markets.  We work with project developers and owners to supply independently verified emissions reductions to organizations including compliance units under several existing and evolving GHG regulatory programs. We also advise project developers on financing structures and help them to secure carbon financing in the pre-compliance and compliance markets.

Due to changing market conditions, we no longer sell "offsets" or "carbon credits" directly to consumers via our web site. However, we work with project developers and various organizations to help develop projects to ensure high standards and credibility in the voluntary market are attained.  We also help the operators of retail and corporate programs to reduce emissions and use verified emission reductions to reduce their carbon footprints.

AtmosClear has a joint venture arrangement with Terra Verde Emissions and Ecotility in Calgary (and Regina) to develop emission reduction projects in the 3 main Canadian carbon markets:

  • Alberta compliance
  • Canadian pre-compliance
  • Canadian voluntary markets.

Our collaboration extends into the US markets as well.  We also have a joint venture with Woodmere in Alberta and British Columbia to develop forestry projects to sequester carbon and to use biomass for energy.

Do you have a project that reduces emissions according to the rules of the Voluntary Carbon Standard, CAR or other recognized standards? If so, we can help you to bring the resulting emission reductions to the market. We can also help companies access financing for viable projects that will reduce emissions.

On this site, we provide:

  • information on how to work with us
  • links to resources on the causes and impacts of global warming and climate change
  • tips on how you (and your organization) can reduce your emissions of GHGs through personal and corporate action, and by purchasing ‘offsets’ or VERs to UndoYourCO2™
  • a calculator to estimate your emissions, and
  • links in our Business Solutions section to site to show you how you can estimate your organization's emissions.
